We welcome you to an affordable way to increase your SAT score that is specifically designed for busy student-athletes.
Our next scheduled boot camp is April 7th from 8:30-3:30 and April 21st review day from 9:00am-12:00pm.
We are a group of Arizona Certified Teachers and Administrators trying to make a difference. Our prep courses are presented in a seminar format, held throughout the Phoenix area. We will, however, travel to other cities and rural towns, upon request, with a minimum amount of students.
We provide an affordable and comfortable atmosphere for students to increase their SATI scores. Our track record is excellent; with our high expectations, we have experienced results way above the national average (which is an increase of 10 points ) with 95% of our students showing at least a 50 point improvement and many showing a 100 -300 point increase. These increases are based on PSAT and SATI scores, not in-house tests. Students need to commit, parents need to support us so we can do what we do best, TEACH.
Our seminar format for the SATI 2011-2012 school year is still the same; Saturdays from 8:30a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Review Day 9:00-12:00 the following Saturday. We cover both Verbal and Math in an intense one day seminar meeting. All classes include "free" follow up by internet with same teachers assessing and evaluating students until exam date. All teachers are highly qualified in their area and certified in Arizona. Please call Fallon Sports 623-224-9187 or directly to Haleys Test Center at 602-896-6300 for further information on this program.
We do not exceed 10 students during any class. The small group sizes with at least 2 teachers is important to the success of our students. Individuals are encouraged to connect with friends to organize a group, but you can certainly register as a single or double and we can create a class from there, we have many people calling with one or two students. Once the minimum is established, we will then open the class to additional students until the cap is reached. Cost which is all inclusive: boot camp, follow up with teachers with assignments and continued assessment, review day and materials.
Once your place has been confirmed, we will be send a class schedule and other materials to be completed prior to our first meeting. You should receive the information from Haley's SAT within 2 days. References are always available. Please read parent letter below.
Data: The majority of students, approximately 95% at last review increased at least 50 points all the way up to 300 points based on previous PSAT or SAT scores. The big companies that we all know base their increase on in house pre and post test scores. Our scores are based on real increase, from PSAT to SAT or SAT to SAT. It must be emphasized that our prep class is the beginning of the process, not the end. It is the student's responsibility to complete all individualized follow up assignments and post their work to the appropriate teacher. Teaching, follow up, evaluation and assessment are all essential components of learning, but student health, confidence and attitude are also key elements to success. We address the "whole" student. Please note, this Prep Course, aka Boot Camp is designed for average to above average students. We will recommend other programs for struggling students.
LETTER FROM PARENT: (With permission granted)and her younger brother did just as well in 2008!
"I wanted to take this opportunity to relate this parent’s experience in working with Tara in preparation for my daughter’s SAT test. If you are reading this letter then you are in the same position I was several months ago. My daughter Brittany is a junior at St. Mary’s High School. She is a good student with a GPA of 3.8. As a sophomore and junior she took the PSAT in preparation for the SAT. On both tests she scored a 950. This score concerned us for many reasons. First we did not think this was reflective of her true abilities given her GPA and secondly she is an elite athlete with the goal of playing college softball. Scholarship money depended on Brittany scoring over an 1100 on the test. Talk about pressure.
I began my search for a SAT prep class and assistance for B. I made many, many calls to all the usual places. However these classes and the testing period (spring) also conflicted with one of B's busiest times of the year – high school softball. She did not have the time to sit in class for 2 hours several days a week – and she plays on most weekends. Not to mention they are down right expensive!

It must have been my lucky day when I found Tara’s site on the web. I called and talked to her and made an instant connection. She knew just what I was struggling with and had previously worked with athletes such as my daughter and understood their special circumstances and time restricting schedules. Just as I suspected, several of Brittany’s teammates were in the same boat. With much ease I was able to fill her class with 7 eager softball players.
Several weeks prior to the class Brittany received Tara’s vocabulary list. Tara’s list and a trusty dictionary went everywhere with us. In the car on the way to tournaments the girls could be heard in the back seat working on their sentences and even attempting to use the words on a daily basis. After the class Brittany was exhausted – both mentally and physically. However, she also believed that she was better equipped to complete the assignments that Tara sent home. Brittany was provided more books and guides that became nightly rituals in front of the computer – emailing Tara her questions, concerns, successes, with immediate feedback and support from Tara in return.
When Brittany took the test three weeks after Tara’s class, she came home and announced that she thought she did pretty well and may have even reached her goal of 1100. Thanks to Brittany’s hard work, Tara’s class, her tests, class packets and unending support and guidance, she scored a 1250!
Tara understood Brittany immediately and was able to understand her strengths and weaknesses. Tara also made Brittany become more vested in the test preparation and test process by communicating directly with her and letting me take a back seat. Overall, we could not be more pleased with the experience as well as the outcome! I cannot give a high enough recommendation to Tara and her team of teachers. Please feel free to contact me directly if you still have questions or concerns at 602-532-5670.
Sincerely,
Paula Anderson"
